“The gaffer” – A lot of Gers fans are delighted with [Steven Gerrard’s celebrations](https://twitter.com/RangersFC/status/1158305075430862853) from the weekend – as to them it shows he gets the club.

This sent [Gerrard sprinting](https://twitter.com/RangersFC/status/1158305075430862853) onto the pitch and gave his side the perfect start to the season – as they look to deny Celtic [the title](https://www.footballscotland.co.uk/spfl/scottish-premiership/steven-gerrard-convinced-rangers-can-16597181) this year.

Since the 39-year-old took the job he has [fully invested](https://www.footballscotland.co.uk/spfl/scottish-premiership/steven-gerrard-explains-how-rangers-16696174) himself in the club – and is [loved](https://twitter.com/RangersFC/status/1158305075430862853) by a lot of the supporters.
