# “Don’t ever change” – These Rangers fans heap praise on Alfredo Morelos

“Don’t ever change” – A lot of Gers have responded to Alfredo Morelos’ tweet – after he [bagged a brace](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/49314816) from the bench against Hibernian.

Affectionately known as [the Buffalo](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rangers-star-alfredo-morelos-el-14200541) to a lot of Gers fans – the 23-year-old has picked up from where he left off last season, scoring [loads of goals](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/leistungsdaten/spieler/338962/plus/0?saison=2018).

He has so far scored [seven in seven,](https://www.soccerbase.com/players/player.sd?player_id=90837) in all competitions, as he looks to beat his [30 strikes](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alfredo-morelos/leistungsdaten/spieler/338962/plus/0?saison=2018) from last year.

On Sunday Morelos scored his first [league goals](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/rangers/top-scorers) of the season – and though he could not quite match Jermain Defoe’s [spectacular hat-trick](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/49314816), he put Hibs’ defence to the sword with [two clinical finishes](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/49314816).

Morelos is, however, a bit of a [wildcard](https://www.footballscotland.co.uk/spfl/scottish-premiership/rangers-star-alfredo-morelos-liability-16696419) – and he will have to rectify his [disciplinary issues](https://www.footballscotland.co.uk/spfl/scottish-premiership/rangers-star-alfredo-morelos-liability-16696419) if he wants to make a positive impact on the Gers’[title-challenge](https://www.footballscotland.co.uk/spfl/scottish-premiership/steven-gerrard-convinced-rangers-can-16597181).

These Rangers fans, though, love their big Columbian.

Many Gers fans have responded to Morelos’ post by calling him [the Buffalo](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rangers-star-alfredo-morelos-el-14200541) – which is the nickname that he has had for his whole career.

Others have pleaded with the striker to never leave Ibrox – Morelos was linked with moves to the [Premier League](https://www.donbalon.com/futbol/premier-league/davinson-sanchez-alfredo-morelos-jugaran-juntos-premier-league) and [the Championship](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/alfredo-morelos-transfer-latest-rangers-18858883), but he has remained with Rangers.
