# “We have the best strikers in Scotland” – These Gers fans are delighted

“We have the best strikers in Scotland” – A lot of Gers fans are thrilled with stats that show [just how lethal](https://twitter.com/RangersCulture/status/1160874838610853888) both Jermain Defoe and Alfredo Morelos have been this season.

Both are averaging exactly a [goal a game](https://twitter.com/RangersCulture/status/1160874838610853888) – and if they both continue in this form, then Rangers could have a strike force that will score a lot of goals.

Defoe has scored [five in five](https://twitter.com/RangersCulture/status/1160874838610853888) – and Morelos has[seven in seven](https://twitter.com/RangersCulture/status/1160874838610853888).

Certainly, these two represent [real quality](https://www.skysports.com/transfer/news/11788/11643538/alfredo-morelos-valued-highly-by-rangers-says-steven-gerrard) – and it could be argued that they are better than [Celtic’s forward options](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/celtic-glasgow/kader/verein/371).

For now, though, a lot of Gers fan are just delighted to see both of their strikers performing so well.

Many Rangers supporters are pleased with the team at the moment –and they believe that Morelos and Defoe are the best strikers in Scotland.

Other Gers fans are convinced that these two will only get better as the season goes on. If these two perform, then it could be an exciting time to be a Rangers’ fan.
