# These Rangers fans weren’t displeased with Jordan Jones’s red card

“I hope it hurt”- A lot of Gers fans were pleased with Jordan Jones’ tackle.

The winger who came on as a substitute received a [red card](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/49545104) for crunching tackle on [Moritz Bauer](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/49545104) – as the Celtic player tried to run [down the clock](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/49545104).

On what was an awful day for Rangers Jones at least [provided their fans](https://twitter.com/RangersFC/status/1168145422122201098) with some entertainment.

[Celtic were comfortable](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49463324) at Ibrox and took the three points thanks to goals from [Odsonne Edouard](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49463324)and [Jonny Hayes](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49463324).

[Rangers were pathetic](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/09/01/rangers-vs-celtic-scottish-premiership-live-score-latest-updates/), and Steven Gerrard got [everything badly wrong](https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/rangers/rangers-manager-steven-gerrard-takes-blame-for-poor-display-against-celtic-1-4995318).

Jones will now miss the [next three games](https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/jordan-jones-leaves-ibrox-crutches-19120668), but a lot of Gers supporters do not seem to mind because at least he [showed some passion.](https://twitter.com/RangersFC/status/1168145422122201098)

These Rangers fans love that Jones broke Bauer and they think that it was the best moment of the match.

Other Gers supporters joke that it was never a red card challenge.
