- Danny Rohl’s team are their for five days
- Here’s what they have to look forward to at their luxury resort
Danny Rohl and the Rangers have headed to a luxury hotel resort in Marbella for their warm-weather training.
The Gers are preparing for the final five games of the season, in which three clubs can win the title.
Rangers sit one point behind league leaders Hearts and have escaped Glasgow’s intense atmosphere.
The club is training at the La Quinta Football Centre in Marbella, a facility used by a host of top European clubs.
While focused on training, the players will experience the amenities of the Westin La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa.
Here’s everything you need to know about where they are staying.

Rangers’ luxury trip away
Firstly, let’s look at the luxury hotel and resort that the players will enjoy during their five days there.
The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort and Spa is a luxury five-star hotel between the sea and mountains in Marbella.
It has over 170 rooms, including 163 guest rooms, three Junior Suites, three Executive Suites, and the Presidential Suite.
The resort has two restaurants, the Sunsa Restaurant and the Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar.
They also have Aljama Bar and the Mirador Pool Bar.
If the players want a break away from football and want to play golf, they are covered with 27 glorious holes.
La Quinta Golf & Country Club is divided into three nine-hole courses: the ‘San Pedro,’ the ‘Ronda,’ and the ‘Guadaiza.’
Rohl’s players and staff can also enjoy a luxury spa and a well-equipped high-end gym to stay strong and relaxed.
The football side
Rangers will train at the La Quinta Football Centre just down the road from the resort.
The facility possesses two football pitches, high-quality changing rooms, and a High-Performance Gymnasium for football players.
With the weather expected to stay above 20 degrees during their stay, Rohl knows how beneficial it will be.
Rohl said, “It gives a little bit of time for recovery but also to work on some small details, and it’s good to refresh the mind.”
“I see a lot of benefits. I will have time with the board to speak about topics for the future as well.”
“The players should do something together as well. This is crucial. Then we come back and focus on the split.”
Rangers face Motherwell at home on Sunday, the 26th of April, to kick off the split fixtures.
