The SPFL has confirmed that the fixtures for the 2026/27 William Hill Premiership season will be published on Thursday, June 18 at 12:00 noon.

The full fixture schedule won’t be released until then, but the key dates are already established in the calendar.

We also learned today of the respective dates for the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League for next season, but given the ongoing SPFL title race, we don’t know which set will apply to Rangers.

There will be plenty of time to worry about all of that later.

SPFL Key Dates

A handy go-to when checking game dates, including international weekends, is the SPFL Key Dates landing page.

If you are new to this, bookmark it. You will use it again and again.

Selected fixture dates for 2026/27:

Fixture Release Day – 18 June
SPFL Premiership Opening Weekend – 1/2 August
Premier Sports Cup (League Cup) Last 16 – 15/16 August
Premier Sports Cup (League Cup) Final –  Sunday 13 December 13
SPFL Premiership Round 33 – 10/11 April 2027
Final Matchday Round 38 – 15/16 May 2027

Next season, there will be no Winter Break, partly due to the new FIFA international calendar.

As part of this, the September and October international windows have been condensed into one.

This period in the autumn means there will be no Premiership matches on the weekends of 26/27 September 26/27 and 3/4 October.

matchday.
