Rangers receive the dreaded late Sunday slot again, but that is partly influenced by the Europa League fixture against Jagiellonia Bialystok three days earlier. St. Mirren were due to visit Ibrox on Scottish Premiership business on the following week, 22/23 August, but that fixture has been postponed with the club taking advantage of the offer from the SPFL to help preparations for European playoffs. That is not a popular choice with the fans, but if Derek McInnes deems it the best way forward then that’s how it is. > 🏆 We're pleased to announce all 8 Premier Sports Cup Last 16 matches will be live on Premier Sports! \ > \ > Three games will be broadcast on Premier Sports 1, including the Ayrshire Derby, plus every single match will be available on the Premier Sports Player. 🙌 [pic.twitter.com/ifLITQIJDq](https://t.co/ifLITQIJDq) > > — Premier Sports (@PremSportsTV) [July 31, 2026](https://x.com/PremSportsTV/status/2083130623644901443?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) ## **Rangers’ domestic schedule confirmed for August** With confirmation of the St. Mirren game, Rangers and the fans now know the full domestic schedule for August. After the Europa League qualifier against Jagiellonia, a Playoff round will follow. Hopefully that will be in the EL, but if the Polish side proceed, Rangers would then enter the same stage of the Europa Conference League. *Rangers’ August schedule in full – as it stands* 31 July – Dundee Utd A 6 Aug – Jagiellonia Bialystok A 9 Aug – Hibs H 13 Aug – Jagiellonia Bialystok H 16 Aug – St. Mirren H (LC) 20 Aug – EL/ECL Playoff 23 Aug – St. Mirren H – POSTPONED 27 Aug – EL/ECL Playoff 30 Aug – Aberdeen A
