# Latest Rangers team bonding moment could be crucial for squad success this season

**Rangers players were spotted enjoying some quality downtime together in Glasgow this week, a sight supporters will hope bodes well for the crucial visual test awaiting the squad both on and off the pitch.**

A large group of first-team stars, including several of the club’s summer arrivals, gathered at a coffee shop in the West End following their 3-0 Premier Sports Cup victory over Celtic last Sunday.

Midfielder Nico Raskin shared images from the informal meet-up on social media, sparking discussion among fans about the growing unity within the camp.

It’s fair to say the gathering was well received, especially after the bust-up on the Govan Stand touchline on Sunday when a strong team ethic was witnessed.

## The Rangers coffee club

The ‘coffee trip’ was highlighted on the *Rangers Review Morning Briefing*, where host Derek Clark pointed to the outing as another clear indication of a strong, healthy culture taking shape inside the Ibrox dressing room.

Clark noted player comments throughout the campaign that have consistently praised the squad atmosphere, a togetherness that was unmistakably visible during last weekend’s derby triumph.

Co-host Jonny McFarlane emphasised just how vital these off-field relationships are for a group that experienced substantial turnover during the summer transfer window.

“You’ve got 14 new players who walked through the door at Ibrox this season,” he said.

“A lot of them come from foreign climes, different continents, and different countries. It could easily be quite lonely if you join a club where there isn’t a tight dressing room or a culture of looking after one another.”

McFarlane stressed that proper team bonding is essential for helping newcomers settle into a new city and high-pressure environment. “It’s important that they’re bonding together and looking after each other,” he added.

That shared resolve will face an immediate, stern trial this Sunday as Rangers head into enemy territory for an Old Firm clash away to Celtic. With a hostile, partisan atmosphere guaranteed at Parkhead, the dressing room’s newfound unity and collective spirit will be essential if they are to withstand early pressure and secure a result.

Looking further ahead, that same camaraderie will need to hold firm well beyond the upcoming international break.

As the domestic season progresses, keeping a large squad aligned, motivated, and backing one another through the inevitable highs and lows could prove to be the ultimate difference-maker for Derek McInnes’ side.

The team that drinks (coffee) together, wins together!
