# Familiar feature set to return to Rangers kit from next season

**A familiar feature is set to return to the Rangers kit from the start of next season, as confirmed by the club.**

At Saturday’s fan engagement meeting, attended by chairman Andrew Cavenagh, chief executive Jim Gillespie, and exec director Fraser Thornton, various club matters were discussed.

One of those items was Rangers’ relationship with kit and merchandise partner Castore.

Their logo has been present on Rangers’ kit since the 2020/21 season, the victorious title campaign under Steven Gerrard.

However, since the start of last season, Umbro branding has adorned Rangers’ kit. That is because Castore has a licensing agreement in place to use the double-diamond within its sports partnerships.

That particular arrangement will be a temporary one in Glasgow, with the parent logo set to return from next season.

## Rangers expected to see out Castore agreement

It has also been relayed that Rangers will see out the deal with the Manchester-based sportswear company.

The deal is due to run through to 2030, at which point Ibrox chiefs are expected to put the agreement out for tender.

The news was confirmed by Stevie Clifford of Four Lads Had A Dream following the meeting and relayed in his [Rangers Review](https://www.rangersreview.co.uk/opinion/26631244.attended-rangers-fan-meeting-andrew-cavenagh/) column.

“On Castore and commercial opportunities, the current Castore deal has three years remaining and the club’s shirts and training wear will return to the Castore brand from Umbro next season.

“The relationship with Castore is strengthening and the club hope future ventures together will improve the supporter experience.”
