Rangers rubbish blogger’s claims

A Rangers club statement has rubbished the claims of an obsessive online blogger that the Ibrox directors had been paid excessively for their work at the club.

The board statement revealed that ‘no renumeration has been paid to the directors of RIFC. This is a board policy which has been agreed by very director.’

Rangers obsessed Blogger, @Pmacgiollabhain, filed the claim that directors Paul Murray and John Giligan were being paid sums of between £7500 and £3250 per week in his twitter blog entitled ‘devilish details’.

The statement read that “Supporters will rightfully have their own view on the agendas and motivation behind such attacks. In many ways it is a sign of the progress that has been made by RIFC that such attacks have become increasingly desperate and far fetched.”

The statements closing message ‘let’s concentrate on the football’, is something that ‘Gers, and apparently Celtic fans, can look forward to this coming season.

matchday.
