RANGERS forward Martyn Waghorn faces a number of weeks out but does not need knee surgery.
The 26-year-old went off injured in the Scottish Cup reply against Kilmarnock after winning and scoring a penalty.
The Englishman wrote on his twitter that he expects to be out injured for six-eight weeks.
Twitter: Gutted to be out for 6/8 weeks, time to work hard, recovery has already started will be back soon fitter and stronger!

Rangers said: “The initial impact on an unforgiving Rugby Park surface resulted in bruising and lacerations.”
The club’s top goal scorer joined the club from Wigan in the summer and has bagged 28 goals for the Scottish giants already this season.
The Light Blues could have done without their star striker getting injured, but have suitable back-up in Kenny Millar, Michael O’Halloran and Nicky Clark.
Clark came on for the injured Waghorn in the game at Rugby Park and scored the late decider that means Rangers will face either Dundee or Dumbarton at Ibrox in the quarter final.
The club statement added: “His rehabilitation will be expertly managed by the medical team and we look forward to welcoming him back sooner rather than later.”
