Niko Kranjcar has been pictured arriving in Glasgow for his medical ahead of his signing with Rangers.
The former Croatian international has been linked with a move to Ibrox for a few weeks and held initial talks with manager Mark Warburton in May.
As reported by STV, the 31-year-old said he’s looking forward to the challenge of joining the newly promoted side.
He said:
It’s great being here. Anyone who plays or follows football knows what a massive club it is. I’m honoured to be in talks with Rangers and hopefully we can find a way for both us to sit down and agree a deal. I’m really good friends with Nikica Jelavic so I’ve heard a lot about [Rangers] from him.

Kranjcar has played for the likes of Portsmouth, Tottenham, Dynamo Kyiv and QPR during his career and will bring some class and experience to the Rangers midfield.
If he passes his medical and can agree terms, he will be the sixth new arrival at Rangers after Joey Barton, Clint Hill, Jordan Rossiter, Josh Windass and Matt Crooks, all of whom have already begun pre-season training with their new teammates.
Kranjcar will know two of those players, Barton and Hill, very well having played with them both at QPR.
