- Danny Rohl has sung the praises of Sunday’s opposition Falkirk
- The manager gave ‘big respect to Falkirk’ in pre-match press conference
- Falkirk are a good team that will have Rangers’ full attention
Rangers manager Danny Rohl has given Falkirk their flowers ahead of the game on Sunday afternoon.
The Gers are enjoying a terrific spell in the league of late, aiming to make it 16 games unbeaten.
Rohl knows it will be no easy feat playing against a team with ‘nothing to lose’ this weekend.
However, he has reiterated that the team is prepared and focused ahead of the must-win clash at Falkirk Stadium.
The Rangers boss gave his verdict on Sunday’s opposition with six cup finals between Rangers and title glory.

Danny Rohl’s comments on Falkirk
Here’s what Rohl had to say about the Rangers’ opposition on Sunday afternoon.
“In general, it’s a big respect to Falkirk, they are playing a very good season, good development, and the manager has done a good job.”
“To get promoted and finish in the top six is a great achievement, and they’re in the final four of the (Scottish) Cup, which is nice.”
“With this opponent, they have nothing to lose now; they can only win, so it’s nice for them.”
“They can gamble more and be more offensive because they have nothing to lose, so we must prepare.”
“We are prepared, we are ready for this game, and we want to win this final game before the split to create more opportunities within the split.”
Falkirk threats
The primary threat Falkirk poses is their proven ability to neutralise Rangers’ attacking rhythm.
Rangers have failed to pick up three points in two previous meetings this season.
The Gers drew 1-1 at Falkirk Stadium in October 2025 before drawing 1-1 at Ibrox a month later.
Calvin Miller and Rangers transfer target Barney Stewart are two threats that will pose problems for the Rangers on Sunday.
Miller has been one of the key creative sparks in the SPFL this season, providing five goals and eight assists in the league.
As for Stewart, he comes into the game off the back of securing the Premiership Player of the Month award.
He already has eight goals in the league this season and will be a huge threat on Sunday.
Stewart is a modern, mobile forward who thrives on instinctive movement in the box.
Rangers have a lot to handle and could face a slip-up if they’re not ruthless at Falkirk Stadium.

With the history between the two teams, like Rangers failing to pick up a victory there since 2014, Rohl knows they must focus on the task at hand.
They are a team punching above their weight, with every victory being an added layer to an already successful season.
Teams with nothing to lose are a scary proposition for anyone, but Rohl reiterates that the team is prepared.
As highlighted before, Falkirk have weapons to hurt Rangers, so they must be ruthless to avoid an embarrassing result.
