- Rangers lead form table across last 25 games under Danny Rohl.
- The German coach has only lost one league match.
- Only two points dropped from winning positions.
Rangers win over Falkirk yesterday extended their unbeaten run under Danny Rohl to 16 league matches.
The form table from the last 25 games that Rohl has managed sees Rangers top of the league summit on a mammoth 60 points.
Their goal difference is also superior to their rivals with Rangers on +36, one more than the current total.
The numbers and the form are convincing. All that remains is the big push to convert the gains into title glory.
Rangers ten points clear at the top of the table
Who knows what would have happened if Danny Rohl was appointed Rangers manager in the summer.
Under the German, Rangers have only lost once in the league since Rohl’s first league victory against Kilmarnock on 26 October.
This means that Rangers have gained the most points over the last six months of the campaign with Celtic second on 50 points and Hearts a further two points behind with 48.
It was not until January that Rangers climbed into second place for the first time this season but what the table shows is that under Rohl, the Gers’ have been gradually picking up more points that their title rivals.
Therefore, the groundwork for their current position was already in place six days into Rohl’s tenure.
Goals scored points to Rohl’s man management
Rangers’ much talked about goal difference has also increased under the manager which is miles in front of Celtic (+18) and Hearts (+17).
Amongst that though is the number of goals scored with the Gers’ scored 58 goals under Rohl, ten more than their derby rivals (48) and 19 more than Derek McInnes’ men (39).
This demonstrates that since October, Rangers have been the most consistent in finding the net than the other title contenders with the recent goal haul another key factor.
It also points to one of Rohl’s greatest assets, which is the ability to get the best out of the players at his disposal.
Record when scoring first is crucial heading into split
During Rohl’s first 25 games in charge of Rangers, the Gers have only dropped points twice in games where they have scored first.
Those were the 2-2 draw Old Firm against Celtic and the 1-1 scoreline against Motherwell.
This highlights Rangers ability to build and or preserve leads when in front and that will be incredibly important ahead of five decisive must-win matches.

What these numbers show is the title-winning form that Rohl has been gradually building for months even when it perhaps was not as clear.
On his unveiling, Rohl was clear he understood that “fans want results now” and he has been true to his word.
Rohl’s background at Bayern Munich means he is aware that managing Rangers demands success and time will tell if he is just weeks away from delivering that expectation.
