Rangers transfer latest – Winger linked with clubs in four different countries

Rangers winger Ross McCausland is said to be wanted by clubs in four different countries.

The latest Rangers transfer news was detailed on Friday afternoon by STV Sport’s Raman Bhardwaj.

Ross McCausland is attracting interest from Bursaspor in Turkey, FC Thun in Switzerland, Maccabi Haifa in Israel, and Sint-Truidense in Belgium.

That follows from other reported interest from Turkey this week.

According to Bhardwaj, Rangers are yet to receive a bid for the Northern Ireland international who is surplus to requirements at Ibrox and likely to leave this week.

Could Ross McCausland stay at Ibrox?

If no bid lands on the table, it is possible that McCausland could remain.

He would be limited to very little game time, as fourth or fifth-choice winger, depending on what unfolds before the transfer window closes next Thursday.

Rangers are said to be in the market for a right winger, after the arrival of Minsu Kim, while Djeidi Gassama is attracting serious interest from Italy.

Rangers turned down a £6 million bid from Serie A Monza for the Mauritania international.

It would be in McCausland’s best interests to move on and play regular football, but if he did remain, the 23-year-old would give his all in a professional manner.
