Rangers will have Don Robertson in charge of Wednesday’s clash with St Mirren at Ibrox Stadium following confirmation from the Scottish Football Association.

Derek McInnes is targeting a fourth consecutive league victory when the Paisley side visit Glasgow for the midweek encounter.

The returning official last refereed at Ibrox during the opening home fixture of the Scottish Premiership season, which ended in a frustrating 2-1 defeat to Hibernian.

Strict Disciplinary Record Tracked

Robertson took charge of six matches involving the Light Blues during the previous campaign and demonstrated a remarkably firm approach.

He issued six yellow cards during a comfortable 4-2 home victory over Hearts in February.

That high booking trend continued two months later when he produced seven yellow cards and one sending-off during a 6-3 victory at Falkirk.

Following intense Scottish Premiership deadline day activity across the division, maintaining discipline remains crucial as McInnes navigates mounting early-season injury problems.

Video Technology Officials Confirmed

Steven McLean has been appointed to oversee video technology interventions for the upcoming fixture.

Sean Carr will support him as assistant video referee throughout the evening.

Calum Spence and Ross Anderson are confirmed as the on-pitch assistant referees.

Colin Steven completes the team as he operates as the fourth official on the touchline.

The domestic league fixture kicks off at 7.45pm on Wednesday night.
