Bojan Miovski takes transfer control as Rangers face January striker dilemma

Rangers forward Bojan Miovski will manage his own future negotiations after confirming he has severed ties with his football agency ahead of the January transfer window. The North Macedonia international missed out on summer moves to Feyenoord and Genclerbirligi, leaving him at Ibrox with three years remaining on his current deal.

Direct Ibrox Transfer Negotiations

Operating without formal representation alters the market dynamic for potential suitors and the club hierarchy. Any interested party must now broker terms directly with the player, while the board handles potential exit discussions without an intermediary broker. This presents a specific challenge for Derek McInnes as he manages a valuable senior asset operating outside the traditional agency network.

Striker Competition Under McInnes

The attacker finds himself in a precarious position within the squad hierarchy at Ibrox Stadium. He has accumulated just 40 minutes of action across three substitute appearances this season. His pathway to regular starts is heavily congested following the £9m arrival of Kevin Kelsy and the established presence of Lawrence Shankland.

Confirming the structural change to his career management, the forward stated: “I would like to confirm that I am currently not represented by any football agent or agency.”

The Ibrox side next host St. Mirren in the Scottish Premiership as McInnes balances his attacking department.
