“Captain Fantastic” – A lot of Gers fans are delighted with James Tavernier’s latest display – as Rangers thrashed Hibernian 6-1.

Tavernier was heavily involved in three of Steven Gerrard’s sides six goals – as he turned in another high-quality performance.

The Rangers’ captain passed the ball to Sheyi Ojo who had a long-range shot saved – and Jermain Defoe tucked home the rebound.

The former Newcastle man then put the cross in that ended up with Defoe glancing a header into the net – and finally, Tavernier saw his shot rebound into the path of Ojo who fired home Rangers’ sixth.

The 27-year-old has picked up from where he left off last season – and has provided five assists in six appearances so far.

These Rangers fans all love Tavernier.

A lot of Gers fans have heaped praise on their captain – and some believe he was unlucky not to score his first goal of the season.

Other Rangers fans are pleased to see Tavernier performing as well as he did last season – and they want him to keep it up.
