“Class today” – A lot of Gers fans were delighted with Jordan Jones’ performance in Rangers 6-1 win over Hibernian at Ibrox.

Jones, who arrived from Kilmarnock in the summer, turned in his best display in a Rangers’ shirt – as he was instrumental in the second goal, and was a constant menace on the left-hand side.

The 24-year-old produced a sublime piece of skill to beat two Hibs defenders and rolled a pass to Sheyi Ojo who crossed for Jermain Defoe – and he scored.

The assist will go down as Ojo’s, but Jones created the opportunity.

So far for the Gers Jones has made four appearances and provided one assist – but this was his best performance for Steven Gerrard’s side.

These Rangers fans were thrilled with the former Kilmarnock man’s display.
