“It’s a disaster” – A lot of Gers fans are annoyed at their capitulation in the Old Firm derby.
Rangers came into the game after a fantastic win against Legia Warsaw and also with a 100% record in the league, but Steven Gerrard’s side never got going and, in the end, they were comfortably beaten by Celtic.
Gerrard decided not to play any wingers, and it was a tactical decision that seriously backfired – as the Gers struggled to create anything of note all game and Fraser Forster was rarely troubled.
The lack of width condensed the game and allowed Celtic the chance to pick off Rangers on the counter.
The first goal was an awful mistake by Connor Goldson and the killer second was a clinical counter-attack from Celtic.
Rangers will have to move on quickly and focus on winning their next game in the league.
For now, though, their fans are fuming at the result and the performance.

We simply didn't turn up and give it a red hot go. No real fight. We looked leggy. Changed team was a wrong decision. But, it's also on the players to go out and give their all. Very disappointing result but, we'll bounce back

Horrible performance and horrible tactics. Why does he not just work logically? Does he not trust his players fitness? Should’ve stuck with the winning team and philosophy. Worst performance I’ve seen from a gerrard team. Should never experiment in a game like this.
