- Rangers move top of the Premiership with Dundee United win
- Fans gave their reaction to a spirited Gers performance at Ibrox
- Danny Rohl also gave his assessment on the game
Rangers move to the top spot in the Scottish Premiership following their 4-2 victory against Dundee United at Ibrox.
Ryan Naderi grabbed his first goal in the Premiership to open the scoring before Dujon Sterling doubled the lead in the 40th minute.
Amar Fatah scored right at halftime to cut the deficit in half going into the break.
Thelo Aasgaard was back in the goals just after halftime, but Zac Sapsford made Ibrox extremely nervous, making it 3-2.
Dundee United looked as though they could draw the game after hitting the post.
However, Bojan Miovski returned from his disappointing international break to secure Rangers the three points with a clinical finish.
Here’s how the fans and Danny Rohl reacted to the performance and moving to the top spot.

Rangers fan reaction
The Ibrox faithful took to social media to share their assessments of the game.
One fan said, “What a win in the end. Gassama was absolutely incredible. A couple scares, but we are showing character and fighting spirit.”
Another said, “3 points. Top of the table. Statement of intent. p.s. – Don’t play a Souttar again.”
“A third made a very clear statement, Start Miovski, the only clinical finisher we have, bin Souttar for life.”
John Souttar returned to the line-up to replace star defender Manny Fernandez, much to the clear discontent of some fans.
“Massive 3 points. Röhl must bench Souttar for the rest of the season, though.”
Following the two goals conceded against Dundee United ,it’s expected that Fernandez will return to the line-up against Falkirk.
Danny Rohl comments
Rangers are now 15 games unbeaten in the league and are finding momentum at the perfect time.
Danny Rohl gave his reaction to the game.
“It was exactly what we expected from the game, our opponent had some threats up front, they were organised and had man-to-man pressing.”
“Conceding two goals is not what I like, but overall, I’m proud.”
“It’s difficult for some of the players because at training yesterday, we had two starting 11’s on either side.”
“It helps when all the other players are hungry and humble and are prepared to take the game home.”
It’s six games to go, we have a strong group, and I think the atmosphere in the stadium was enjoyable as well.”
It’s all about the team, and it’s not just the players. If we stick together as a team, we can achieve something really special this season.”
