- Rangers face Celtic in final Old Firm derby of the season
- Gers can dent rivals’ title chances with victory on Sunday
- Ibrox club can also boost Champions League hopes
Rangers face Celtic for the final Old Firm derby of the season in the first game since they all but crashed out of the Premiership title race.
The Gers disappointing defeat to Hearts on Monday evening leaves Danny Rohl’s men seven points behind the league summit with nine points left to play for.
However, the race for Champions League qualification is still on at Ibrox as Rangers know victory at Parkhead will leave them one point behind their second placed rivals.
In addition, three points for the Gers could all but seal the Premiership title for Hearts who will be six points clear with two games to go if Celtic lose and they win.
Therefore, Rangers must put the disappointment of the last two matches behind them as they still have it all to play for in the final three matches.

Recent results
Rangers go into the meeting at Celtic Park on the back of two consecutive league defeats for the first time in eight years.
The Motherwell and Hearts results means the pressure is now on Danny Rohl and the players to ensure a strong end to the season.
Rangers are unbeaten in the league against Celtic this season with the first derby ending in a stalemate last August.
That was followed with the 3-1 victory at Parkhead in January before the 2-2 draw in March.
Meanwhile, across the city Celtic have won their last four league matches on the spin with the two post split victories (3-1 against Falkirk and 2-1 away to Hibs) keeping their title hopes on track.
Martin O’Neill’s men will be aiming to remain in the hunt for five-in-a-row with victory while adding to the gloom that has descended on Ibrox.
Rangers have the opportunity to not only return to winning ways but strike their rivals’ title hopes dead.
