Rangers manager Danny Rohl has been linked with a return to his homeland Germany, according to new reports.
Rohl, who has only been in charge at Rangers for seven months is apparently ‘on the shortlist’ at Bundesliga club Wolfsburg.
The Volkswagen-owned club are embroiled in a relegation battle with current manager Dieter Hecking set for a move upstairs.
What these reports highlight is that if Wolfsburg do move for Rohl, that despite latest setbacks his work at Rangers is catching the eye of admirers.
Leon King transfer latest as Coventry City enter the race
The 22-year-old has spent the season on-loan at Scottish Championship club Ayr United with King a product of the Rangers youth academy.
However, it seems that he will be heading for the exit door and a host of clubs in England are interested.
Coventry City have reportedly entered the race to sign King on a permanent deal with Frank Lampard eyeing the youngster for the Sky Blues’ return to the Premier League, according to TeamTalk .
Wolves and Burnley have also demonstrated interest as have Middlesbrough, West Brom and Portsmouth.
Despite that, King has not ruled out a return to Ayr stating: “I’m not shutting the door on staying here.”
Therefore, where he ends up post-Rangers remains to be seen.
Scott Arfield takes charge at Livingston as Bartley exits
There has been a surprise managerial change in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon after Livingston announced the resignation of Marvin Bartley.
The news comes after Livingston’s relegation to the Championship was confirmed last weekend.
Arfield has been handed the temporary reigns at Almondvale for the final three matches of the season in what is his first managerial role.
His first match as interim boss will be away to Dundee on Saturday.
