Rangers defender Eilidh Austin has signed a new two-year contract extension with the club ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The academy graduate will remain in Glasgow after establishing herself as a regular in Leanne Crichton’s side last term.
Austin, a Scotland youth international, has now committed her future at a key point for Rangers Women.
The club said she had enjoyed a breakthrough season after previous loan spells with Hamilton Academical and Motherwell helped accelerate her development.
Austin Deal Strengthens Rangers Core Before New Campaign
The 20-year-old’s extension gives Crichton continuity in defence and keeps another homegrown player inside the first-team group.
Austin also produced one of the more memorable moments of last season by scoring in an Old Firm derby win at New Douglas Park.

Speaking after the announcement, Austin said it was a simple decision to extend her stay.
Crichton praised her performances, attitude and consistency. The head coach also suggested Austin has the qualities to push towards the senior Scotland setup in the near future.
For Rangers, the timing matters.
With the new campaign beginning in August, retaining a developing defender who already knows the demands of the club gives Crichton one less uncertainty before pre-season planning sharpens.
