A report in Serbia has claimed that Rangers have lodged a €4.5 million bid for Partizan Belgrade midfielder Vanja Dragojevic.
The 20-year-old has been capped twice at full international level by his country and is very much a deep-lying playmaker.
After the arrival of Dan Neil yesterday, there may be some surprise that Rangers are targeting another number six, so it will be interesting to monitor this one.
Mozzart Bet has reported that Rangers have made a €4.5m bid for Vanja Dragojevic, but the Gravediggers are said to be holding out for a sum closer to €5.5m, with a share of any future sale.
Partizan are said to be vulnerable to an upcoming UEFA financial deadline, which could lead to the expedited player sales if they are to be compliant for the imminent Conference League qualifiers.
Beyond the interest in Dragojevic, Ognjen Ugresic is also attracting attention from clubs overseas.
More to follow.
