Derek McInnes has named his team for the Rangers v Jablonec Conference League Playoff first leg at Ibrox tonight.
The manager has made one change from the team that played against St Mirren on Sunday, in what was the best performance of the season to date.
Dan Neil comes in for Nico Raskin.
The 5-1 win sparked some welcome optimism and now Rangers must build some momentum in this crucial European tie.
The Conference League is not where the club and fans want to be, but it’s the present reality and the finance is important.
If McInnes’ side can get past the Czechs, Rangers should be looking at going deep in this competition but first of all, we need to get down to business.
Confirmed Rangers line-up v Jablonec
Pandur, Sterling, Fernandez, Makhanya, Penrice, Neil, Dragojevic, Chukwuani, Gassama, Yokota, Naderi.
Kick-off at Ibrox is at 7.45pm.
How to watch Rangers v Jablonec
Derek McInnes previews Rangers v Jablonec
The Rangers manager wants his team to impose themselves on the opposition tonight.
When asked what he expects from Jablonec, McInnes responded:
“It is difficult to assess who are favourites and who are not. I am not really bothered by that.
“The emphasis is on ourselves to go and win the game.
“You watch them, but you can never fully tell because they are playing teams in their own league and the teams they have faced in Europe may not be at our level.
“At the same time, you can only take on what is in front of you. They are clearly well organised and have a few good individuals who can make the game problematic.
“They can also change shape, even with the same personnel, so we have to be ready for that.
“I want us to concentrate on finding our level and getting big individual performances. I am expecting a tough game, but if we do that, I expect it to be tougher for them.”
