Derek McInnes enjoyed the moment as Bojan Miovski’s sublime winner secured the three points for Rangers against St Mirren at Ibrox.
With the game moving through added time, Route One proved to be an effective option as Ryan Naderi’s headed flick was met by the North Macedonian striker, delivering an emphatic reminder of his talent.
The celebrations were as much about relief as joy, and Rangers collectively celebrated the breakthrough.
The team held on to secure the three points, providing a crucial boost ahead of Sunday’s Old Firm meeting in the League Cup.

With the team seeing out the win, the Ibrox stands came alive to pull the players through the last couple of minutes.
‘Step up and play’ was heard loud and clear, shortly after Miovski did just that.
The fans were singing and celebrating and Derek McInnes couldn’t help but join in.
Is he getting carried away? Maybe a wee bit, but give me a passionate Rangers manager (and fan) celebrating an important win over one who shows no emotion.
It’s not a thing you’d imagine McInnes will indulge in often, but why not.
This was a crucial three points, ahead of the double-header against Celtic, and hopefully a learning curve for the dressing room.
Rangers must sharpen up for Sunday
First-half positives became second-half concerns, but thankfully the back line held strong.
That was thanks to a point-blank save from Ivor Pandur, leading up to the moment of glory, sealed by Miovski.
To an extent, Rangers got away with one tonight, given the drop-off after the break.
That can’t be repeated on Sunday, but hopefully Ibrox will be jumping to a familiar tune.
