- Rangers linked with Motherwell midfielder Elijah Just, touted as a creative summer signing.
- Just has seven goals and seven assists in 28 league games this season.
- Motherwell expected to demand £4–6m for the 25-year-old New Zealand international.
Rangers have been accused of ignoring the Scottish transfer market in recent years but have been tipped to remedy this with the proposed signing of Motherwell midfielder Elijah Just in the summer.
Media outlets have been circling stories linking the 25-year-old New Zealand international with a move to Ibrox.
Since his arrival at Fir Park last summer, he has been a revelation and one of the Premiership’s hottest talents.
He is joint-tenth top scorer in the league with a remarkable seven from midfield.
Just has also chipped in with seven assists in his 28 league outings.
He, along with Tawanda Maswanhise, have been the main focal points of a resurgent Motherwell side sitting fourth in the table.

His influence, added to his age and ability, ensure that the Steelmen will drive a hard bargain to allow him to depart.
Motherwell supporter and YouTuber Gordon Bonnes argued that there would be a price-hike for any interested Scottish sides.
He said he believes Motherwell would “look for £4m” for Just “but domestic tax will probably be up to £6m.”
He praised the player as “one of the most talented players ever seen at Fir Park,” and lauded “his pace and his ability to link the midfield to the attack.”

Rangers have badly missed a creative number ten this season and Just looks, on paper, an ideal summer recruit for Danny Rohl.
Just himself touched on the speculation linking him to both Rangers and Celtic in a recent interview with FIFA.
“I think that’s normal when you’re doing well but I’ve still got so much football to play, including the World Cup this year, let alone the rest of my contract.
“It is not something I’m thinking about at all.”
He featured in the All-Whites defeat to Finland last night – facing off with Gers winger Oliver Antman.
He is expected to appear in this summers World Cup for the Oceanic nation.
