Mikey Moore has told Rangers fans to “keep believing” after the second-half turnaround against Falkirk last weekend.

Taking to Instagram, the 19-year-old posted: “Unreal character to come back today! Time to get myself 100% to be able to give everything in these last 5 games.

“Rangers fans, the support was class until the very end – thank you! Keep believing.”

Moore watched the second-half from the sidelines after he was subbed off by Danny Rohl due to struggling with a knock.

Moore shows his determination to deliver Rangers the title

What these comments from Moore signifies is the hunger from the youngster to return to his best ahead of the title run-in.

The 19-year-old started in nine consecutive matches for Rangers before the Falkirk match which highlights how valued a member of the squad he is to Danny Rohl.

Importance of Spanish training camp laid bare

With Rangers currently in Spain for their training camp, it comes at the perfect time for Moore to recover ahead of the crucial final five games.

There could have been a scenario where Moore may have been a doubt if Rangers were due to face a Scottish Cup semi-final.

However, is not the case which makes it even more imperative that the Gers have as many players available as possible and the break provides the opportunity to ensure that.

Strength of fan and player relationship on display

The inclusion of the image of Rangers’ fans unfurling the ‘keep believing’ banner highlights the unity between not just Moore but the whole squad.

It adds to the narrative of the unity and togetherness at Ibrox right now which is what the fans are buying into.

What is also does is point to the broader picture of squad morale and the momentum that has been with Danny Rohl and his players since the German’s arrival.

What Moore’s message to the Rangers’ fans show is the psychological shift of the players.

Not only is the 19-year-old aware of the physically demands that come with a title run-in, hence his determination to return to full fitness but he is feeding into the belief that is reverberating off the park.

It is clear that this is having a profound positive impact on Moore and the entire squad who are safe in the knowledge that the fans are with them ahead of the final push.

The players are mentally aligned with the supporters and with a post-split fixture list that could produce difficult moments, that unity could be a key factor in whether Rangers clinch the Premiership title.
