- Naderi and Rommens to miss Motherwell clash
- Naderi could miss remainder of season
- Rommens hopeful to return for Hearts match
Ryan Naderi and Tuur Rommens will miss the Motherwell match this Sunday, Danny Rohl has confirmed.
Naderi and Rommens were both pictured at the training camp in Spain sparking hopes that the pair would be available sooner than anticipated.
However, Rohl has revealed that the pair are unavailable for this Sunday’s crucial match.
Manager confident that Rommens will return for Hearts clash
Despite that, the German is positive that Rommens will be fit to feature in the final four matches of the campaign.
The first of those four will be the away match to Tynecastle against the league leaders before the Old Firm clash at Celtic Park.
The Belgian would be returning to a baptism of fire if he marks his return against Derek McInnes’ men but it is exactly the type of match that a returning Rangers player should be relishing.
Question marks remain over Naderi despite “better” prognosis
Meanwhile, there remains doubt over Naderi’s progress with Rohl warning that he may not play for Rangers again this season.
Despite that, there is room for optimism with the manager stating that compared to ten days ago, the 22-year-old is in a better place.
The striker has shown promise since he arrived at Rangers in January and it remains to be seen whether he will be able to kick on and have a positive impact during the final matches of the season.

This admission from Danny Rohl provides a reminder of the injury woes at Rangers.
The last thing the club needs at this crucial stage is players returning before they are ready.
However, Rangers’ 14 goal haul in the last three matches is more than enough evidence that the dressing room is equipped to handle what is to come.
