- Charlie has praised Findlay Curtis for his spell at Kilmarnock
- Curtis left Rangers on loan to earn more minutes in January 2026
- The spell has put in the conversation for a starting role at Ibrox next season
Former Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam has praised Findlay Curtis for his continued progress at Kilmarnock.
He moved to Killie in January 2026 to increase his gametime and earn some meaningful minutes in the SPFL Premiership.
Within a few weeks of playing under Neil McCann, Curtis showed exactly why he warrants a chance at Rangers next season.
His ability to cause problems down the wing earned him a call-up to the Scotland team for the first time.
He played nine minutes in Scotland’s 1-0 loss to Japan at Hampden on March 28th.
Adam has praised his progress at Kilmarnock and for taking the risk to perform and get regular minutes away from Ibrox.

Charlie Adams thoughts on Curtis
Adam expressed: “Every club wants to play their own players, but you have to be good enough.
“You have to have the right moment to give them the opportunity.
“Findlay Curtis has come in, had his moment, and then had to go to Kilmarnock and play regularly. He could have stagnated.
“I think he has done the right thing, Findlay Curtis, by getting out and playing.
“Hopefully, his performances will get him the opportunity to come back to Rangers in the summer.
“A club like Rangers should be producing young talent, but it is not easy playing in front of Ibrox.”

Curtis is a perfect example of a player who’s used the loan route correctly to put himself in contention at Ibrox.
With Mikey Moore expected to return to Tottenham, there is a space for another young winger to fill the void.
Curtis has proved against some of the best teams in Scotland, especially his performance against Hearts in March.
The winger was instrumental in trying to help Rangers away from Ibrox when Killie beat the table-toppers 1-0.
Imagine if he were playing for Rangers, a young lad who’s come through the system and understands what it means to play for the club.
For me, Curtis has shown enough that he is ready to make an impact at Rangers and help in the future.
