Rangers transfer news ramps up – Derek McInnes pledges new signings on the way for Sunday

Rangers transfer news just got a lot more exciting after Derek McInnes teased new arrivals after the St Etienne victory.

It was a narrow win, and not an impressive one, on Wednesday evening on the south side of Glasgow with clear deficiencies in the new-look Rangers team, but fears will be allayed with the gaffer’s post-match remarks.

As relayed by Heart and Hand Podcast, McInnes stated that more signings are imminent.

At least three new arrivals within the next 10 days? Yes please.

Derek McInnes’ Rangers clearly a work in progress

Rangers transfer news won’t be stopping any time soon.

The team and squad won’t fully be ready for the league opener next Friday against Dundee United, but reinforcements are on the way.

McInnes will want to play a variation of 442 most weeks and that requires wide men with quality.

Rangers need at least two wingers, while Vanja Dragojevic is expected to be one of the others to enter the building.

Exits are required too, that is clear, so it will be a very busy six-week period until Rangers transfer news climaxes at the beginning of September.
