Bojan Miovski has been linked with a move to Turkey, with the striker deemed surplus to requirements at Rangers.
The North Macedonia international is said to be on a list of targets for Turkish Super Lig side Genclerbirligi, with three days left until the transfer window closes in Scotland.
Bojan Miovski was not part of the squad on Sunday as Rangers secured a 1-0 victory away to Aberdeen.
The former Girona striker hasn’t been able to force his way into the team on a regular basis since his move to Ibrox last Summer.
Now working under his third manager at the club, the writing appears to be on the wall for the 27-year-old.
Bojan Miovski set to leave Ibrox this week – Rangers transfer news
Another two or three arrivals are expected at Ibrox this week, but that number should be less than the sum of those leaving.
Quite simply, the squad is too big and the wage bill needs to be reduced.
Bojan Miovski is one of the players on the fringes of the squad who aren’t contributing and aren’t likely to feature in the coming weeks and months.
Lyall Cameron, Ross McCausland and Clinton Nsiala are three others, while the likes of John Souttar and Nico Raskin appear ready to end their time in G51, for different reasons.
Miovski was thrown into the action away to Jablonec in the desperate hope of grabbing a goal to salvage the tie, but that was a futile attempt to change that particular game.
Although he converted a penalty in the shootout that followed, sporadic appearances like that are no use to the player.
He’s clearly the third choice for McInnes at present, and that will become the fourth, in the likely event of Kevin Kelsy’s arrival this week.
All the signs are pointing to Bojan Miovski leaving Rangers this week.
