The BBC released every episode of the second season of hit comedy series Amandaland on Wednesday evening, and eagle-eyed viewers quickly spotted an unexpected wardrobe choice from one of the cast members.
Regular character Mal, played by Samuel Anderson, can be seen wearing a Rangers jacket throughout several of the early episodes.
The series follows Amanda Hughes, portrayed by Lucy Punch, as she attempts to rebuild her life after a recent divorce.
What is Amandaland?
Forced to downsize, Amanda relocates to South Harlesden in London.
Where she must navigate the challenges of parenting teenagers while adapting to unfamiliar surroundings and a very different way of life.
Anderson, 44, plays Amanda’s downstairs neighbour and eventual love interest in the comedy.
His character is heavily involved in the local community.
He also coaches the youth football team attended by both his own son and Amanda’s daughter.

The Rangers wardrobe choice
During several scenes featuring the football side, Anderson is seen sporting a Castore-branded Rangers coaching jacket.
A detail that has already attracted attention from football fans watching the new season.
The former Doctor Who star has no obvious connection to the Ibrox club.
Anderson was born in Birmingham to a Jamaican father and an Irish mother, and there is no known public affiliation with Rangers.
However, the actor did spend time in Scotland last year while filming episodes of Shetland.
This has led some viewers to speculate that he may have developed a soft spot for the Glasgow club during his time north of the border.
Whether intentional or simply a costume department decision.
The Rangers jacket has certainly not gone unnoticed by supporters tuning into the latest season of Amandaland.
